Sugar, Raw & Unrefined (Desi Khand)

Just Organik Organic Raw Sugar (Desi Khand) is the unrefined sugar prepared from the juice of sugarcane grown in certified organic farms. Organic Desi Khand has the full-bodied taste of sugarcane due to presence of molasses and is less processed, retaining a lot of the nutrients present in sugarcane juice. Presence of molasses makes it a healthier alternative of refined sugar. The closer the colour of the raw sugar to fresh sugarcane juice, the better it is. While it is a good alternative of refined sugar, it should also be consumed in moderate amounts, within healthy limits.
