Ekchala necklace set is a unique combination of abstract, fabric and macrame art.
Durga Puja is not only a festivity in West Bengal, but it's a celebration, irrespective of any religious boundaries. Bengalis, consider Ma Durga has 4 children, Ganesh, Lakshmi, Saraswati and Kartik and worship them together, during Durga Puja. So, when these figurines are sculpted on a single platform, it's call 'EKCHALA', Hence the name of the necklace, where Ma Durga along with her 4 children are painted and mounted on a same platform!
To keep the subtle flavor of bengal in this necklace, jute and kowri shells are used in this necklace.
To compliment the look of the necklace, earrings are made of jute rope and kowri shells too.
